I found a moth in my clothes, shook it off, and then remembered to take a few photos of it. When I shook it off, it went crazy. I thought it was a butterfly, but it turns out it wasn't. It's a pest that eats clothes in closets and then turns into a worm with poisonous spines. I'll tell you that at first it scared me a little, but then I realized that it's something common. This moth, with its hairy and strange appearance, made me think about how important it is to take care of our clothes and keep our closets in good condition. My closet is damaged and gets very wet. I think the rotting wood is what attracts this type of moth. I'm going to take everything out to see if I can dismantle it all or at least salvage something.
In short, that giant moth, with its fur as thick as a cotton cloud, got into my closet without me noticing. If you see that patch of hair or a slight musty smell, you probably have some strange visitors in your closet. Today I spent the whole day cleaning the room and closet, putting repellent on to keep my clothes clean and free of unexpected surprises.
I took it out to the patio and mounted it on my leg to get a better look at it. The blow I gave it left it stunned, and that's when I was able to photograph it.
It escaped me and flew toward the basket where I had more dirty clothes. I photographed it from various angles.
Discovering a moth inside my clothes was very alarming, but it is also a sign that my closet is dirty from neglect and needs extra care. By understanding the life of these little visitors inside my home, I realized that I must protect and care for my clothes, keep them clean and dry, free of moisture, use sealed bags for these delicate items, use repellents from time to time, and periodically check my wardrobe.
