You Know What Really Grinds My Gears...Wallet Maintenance
I'm a huge fan of Binance and I will probably be an even bigger fan once they get a DEX, but I'm getting frustrated with wallet maintenance that lasts for days and even weeks on end. This leads to severe market inefficiencies and for some reason the longest periods of wallet maintenance seem to do with STEEM and BitShares (BTS).
BitShares to a certain extent is a direct competitor to Binance and their native coin BNB. So seeing as how the wallet has been in "maintenance" mode for over a week now is frustrating, but I guess it shouldn't surprise me.
Deposits are open, but Withdraws are closed. You can check your BTS in, but you can't check your BTS out. Its a crypto roach motel.
Of course this is leading to a price drop on the platform and an arbitrage opportunity if you want to gamble and are patient. There is currently a 3.5% price differential between Poloniex and Binance.
Poloniex is currently quoting 1209 Satoshi and Binance is quoting 1170 Satoshi.

I really do not know why STEEM and BitShares has wallet problems so often.
These are both blockchains and the interface has been quite standardized. Many scripts and libraries have been written to just drop into your web page.
Its like these people are trying to stay away from the easy stuff.
Its too easy... i am skeptical.
Deposits but no withdrawals is a clear sign of NOPE you can’t sell our stuff just buy. Don’t know much about it tho as I don’t use it.
Love that sales pitch at the end. Binance sucks, but....LOL
