The unknown truth of the mysterious island Madagascar
The mysterious island of Madagascar on the southeast coast of Africa The size of the country is 5.87 thousand 41 square kilometers. The population is about 25 million. When i heard the country's name, remember the popular animated movie 'Madagascar'. The main characters of the movie include a lion named Alex, Zebra Marti, Geraif Melman and a hippo named Gloria. Seem like animals of New York Central Zoo were released in Africa for adventure.
The island Madagascar is about 70 million years old. The present Madagascar is separated from Africa is about 165 million years ago and from India 100 million years ago. These ancient segregated gifts to Madagascar unique plants and animals. About 90 percent of the biodiversity found here is not available anywhere else on earth. Among them, there are extinct mammals like giant birds that can not fly & Dwarf Hippo.
Lemur is a kind of a glimmer-faced nocturnal monkey. It is only available in Madagascar. Here Lemur has been installed in the place of worship. That is, this animal is very holy and honorable in Madagascar. Lemur is also preserved with restrictions as cultural restrictions in the country. There are also etymological myths in Madagascar where people have been linked to Lemur. Even humans and Lemur are considered to be the descendants of the same lineage. A survey of 2012 said that there are 103 species of Lemur and sub-species of Lemur are found in Madagascar. And all of them are endangered and extinct. In the meantime, many Lemurs, including giant lemurs, have been extinct.
