Polish Nature - Great spotted woodpecker

Coming back to my autumnal erchives - short photo session with woodpecker in a dense pine forest.
The bird was around 50 meters from the path but luckily I had my tele lens attached to my camera and was able to catch some details of this beautiful creature.

Autumnal foliage in the foreground was a nice, warm touch of colour.

Few more shots left to go from the autumnal sessions but this year's spring is already outside the window, so I hope to go out soon for fresh images :).
