Koreans do not have special birthday like this. However, they regard the 1st and the 60th birthday as most important days. This has a traditional background where it was hard to live a full year and to live long until 60 years in the old days. The first birthday is called 돌 (doll), the 60th birthday is called 환갑(hwan-gap).
