RE: If you were to buy BTC, LTC, ETH or STEEM what colateral would you use ?

in #bitcoin6 years ago (edited)

Considering I bought my steem at the top, it will be a LONG time before I buy any crypto ever again. I was the last greater fool. I have never bought anything ever that lost 95% of its value in 6 short months, and I still can't quite cope with that. I would have been farther ahead buying scratch lottery tickets. Will it come back? I have no idea.

Okay, maybe if steem slips down below .30 I will be tempted.

Don't beat your self up too much over it. I caved into the hype as well and got a few orders in just before the big dip at the start of the year. These orders have now become extra-longterm hodlings.
Granted, these losses are offset a little by some good purchases I made earlier last year, but I can still feel the sting.
Chin up and weather the storm with us!

Buy alts with btc. Maybe btc with fiat when it arrives somewhere near the floor...

I hear your pain, but don't make the mistake of not buying at the bottom. You don't want to make another purchase at the top of the market.

I'd like to see it for 15 cents, but I don't know whether we will hit that point.

We probably will hit 20cent-15 cents, we still haven't bottomed on btc

Remember that buying now reduces ur average buy in by a lot!!

Lesson learned.I only buy coins at all time low's,and this strategy seems to work for me 100%.No losses.

All true, but if everyone waits for the bottom, getting there will be just that much longer. And if there are no fools to hold the bag, the moonshots never happen. In the end, a market that appreciates a few percent a week is way more healthy then one that bounces 20% in a day.
