It is a TLDR / Short Form Series, covering ONLY that topic
It is specifically designed this way to keep it short and simple.
People can then search out extra info if they wish, or share this relevant info / company names with people to help show the growth, reality and legitimacy of $BTC/$XBT and cryptocurrency!
I've never seen a regular series or resource running on Steemit to continually address this basic need so I decided to do it.
With BTC (Core/Legacy chain only) crossing the $200B market cap just Dec. 5th, 2017 ago for the 1st time (aprx. 1:30 pm UTC time or 8:30 am EST) and with more countries relaxing rules for its use, it is a real thing.
2 weeks later (Dec. 19th, 2017, 2:50 pm EST) --- we literally crossed the $335B mark ... JUST for the one Bitcoin chain -- and we just crossed the total crypto market cap of HALF A TRILLION $$ around the same day.
After about ~5 days of huge corrections market wide, the numbers are climbing again.
Today that total Crypto Market Cap after the correctionings week.... is back to about ~ .6 TRILLION. (12/27/2017)
-- meaning over $600B.
-- It is fun to write that out in "Trillion" form, & remind everyone crypto is serious money now.
BTC crossed the $300B market cap / 1st time on Dec. 8th, approx. 12:15 am UST/ or ~7:15 pm EST
BTC began the year at about $15.5B total market cap and we have not included the forks of BTC in these numbers either!

While I was not shocked by some of these numbers I was by Oracle still being worth over 200 billion. Sure they have some amazing software but it’s so crazy expensive most cant afforded to even train on it let alone use it like there inventory or accounting software.

I had just read a help post that suggested making a lot of comments helped. Thought it might help to let others know I was following them.
Think I understand it better now. Finding a niche and getting to know others in that space makes sense.
You obviously have been involved in this a while. How do newcomers learn best how to navigate. And how do things like voting bots we hear so much about fit in. Quite frankly that sounds like cheating if this space is to be idealistic.
Why are practices that allow an unfair advantage tolerated, and worse yet, promoted?

Yep, I think these lows are just the normal market corrections! Bitcoin still has a long way to go, and all in all Crypto will bring about a great and amazing change!
I posted a reintroduction being I have been gone for so long. But Recently I have joined a team working to help promote their coin. I see there is going to be a good future in the coming years for everyone that has been, and will be getting involved in cryptocurrencies!
I hope Bitcoin can learn to keep up!
