Hey everyone! Pretty sure you are all excited about the Hard fork happening on August 1 2017 at 12:20 pm UTC, in about:

So i just unpacked my Trezor and wanted to share a couple of pictures so you know what to expect:

If you are worried that the package might be tampered before you receive it rest assured it is heavily glued from all sides, the only way to get in is to tear it apart. Well done Trezor!

You can see that the package contains:
-One Trezor wallet
-One Trezor cable, wallet to USB (Laptop...)
-Two sheets to write your seed on (the 24 words)
-Two white and two black Trezor stickers
-One chain, so you get a better hold of it

The stickers are fucking amazing! not sure where i'll put them, but i am in love with Trezor, maybe because the product is aesthetically superior or that their support is super friendly and professional!

One thing that i did not expect, is that the wallet is too tiny!I expected it to be bigger since the images on the websites give the impression that it is bigger and so does the package:

So i am actually writing this story while i am setting it up, and i will write down everything.
Let's plug it!

Let's go to https://trezor.io/start/
well at least they acknoweldge how hard it is to get one of these since they've been out of stock for around a month!
Finally Trezor.PNG

The next step actually took me some time and i freaked out a little.
to set it up you should go this link: https://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-user/settingup.html
did not find the previous one as helpful, the above is a shortcut.
I decided to use the second method "Trezor Chrome Extension", after the download is completed you just launch it and get this prompt:

Time to Install Firmware.PNG

After clicking on "Yes,Install" Trezor screen shows " never do this without your recovery card!!
I though for a second that i did something wrong, but it seems that the device has no firmware before actually plugging it into the computer and there is no recovery cards yet. So nothing to loose, only firmware to be installed.

Now with the actual setup, you need to name the device:
Trezor Name.PNG

Now you insert a PIN around 4 number, 6 is the best
The pin.PNG

Then you get the 24 mnemonic words "seed" be careful to write them correctly and make multiple copies. Store them safely.

Trezor is ready and working, the interface is amazing and user friendly.Tips showing in screen and user customization is available:

Summary: Just get one people! It's an amazing device, forget about your online, mobile and desktop storage!
The pre-order period just ended so you can get one in 4 days!

Now regarding Bitcoin Cash, Trezor's statement on this matter can be found here:
https://blog.trezor.io/bitcoin-cash-hard-fork-chain-split-safe-guide-abbe3e9c553f

"This means that for whatever amount of bitcoins you had before the split, you will end up having that same amount of Bitcoin Cash."
"We will provide an interface, accessible from TREZOR Wallet, where you can access and safely claim your Bitcoin Cash coins. You will be prompted by TREZOR Wallet once you select “Bitcoin Cash” in the currency selector."
This action will be available after 1 August, if you're checking your currency list, you will not find bitcoin Cash now.

Hope this article made your life easier! Upvote and i will choose a random person and give him a free hardware wallet if the article reaches 200$ upvotes.

Bro @charbelghossan How it's going, we missed you.. Keep posting here

Congratulations my friend!Will do!

I want a hardware wallet, but will wait for the tech to improve... And for the price to drop. Also, I don't feel great putting so much on a 1st gen Trezor. How much did it cost?

I have high custom duties and value added tax in my country, it costed around 180$ to have, but the thing is that the firmware is updated no matter how old your product is.I really like it,worth having one

Thanks for taking the time to write this guide :)

My pleasure mate, always share the knowledge!
