Miami Workers Will Receive Bitcoin As Their Medium of Payment (Salaries)
The Mayor of Miami, Francis Suarez has made it clear in his first interview with Forbes that, the city employees will soon be receiving their payment in the first cryptocurrency which is bitcoin. Mayor Suarez has filed a proposal for the payment of all local taxes and fees to be paid through cryptocurrency and also part of the cities treasury to be transferred through bitcoin.
The Mayor is hoping to host a Bitcoin conference in his re-election campaign in the city. To make this work he contacted the heads of Cryptocurrency to introduce a bill to the state legislature which will help him establish rules for bitcoin in the state. This is in the form of promoting crypto-currency. In my view to what is happening now, I will urge other countries and state to take this as an example and move onto that because with the help of crypto currency transaction will be made easier and faster and also across the whole worldwide.
