How to get your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) from your BTC wallet

So I've been searching for some time now and finally got a way to get my BCH reflecting in a wallet.

Luckily I transfered my BTC to a hardware wallet before the 1st of August for safety as I read that we needed to get our private keys in order to import them again into a BCC (now BCH) client.
