Bitcoin hit this price a year ago, though the sentiment was very different

It's funny what a difference a year makes.

Roughly one year ago today, bitcoin was trading at $41k, which is pretty much where it is trading today...

However, the sentiment is the exact opposite...

While the price ultimately ended up going higher back in 2021, there was a very large drop shortly after this reading.

Consequently, the price of bitcoin may end up going lower at some point this year, but I expect we are close to a rather large bounce from these levels.

Or this may end up being the lows, tough to say.

Either way, selling here or shorting here are not the odds play at this point.
