Third Bangladesh in the outsourcing list in the world...
Currently, Bangladesh is ranked third in the outsourcing list. There are around six and a half million freelancers. Five lakh of them work on the basis of monthly income. This information was given on the second day of BASIS SoftExpo 2011, on Friday afternoon at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center's celebration of 'Freelancer's Conference'.
Syed Almas Kabir, president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), highlighted the different sectors of the freelancing sector in the seminar. Presented by Bank Asia's Managing Director Mohammad Arfan Ali, Google Local Guides Community Moderator Sumaiya Zafarin Chowdhury, among others.
Syed Alamaskee said it is possible to become a member of the BASIS only subject to the condition of the freelancer. If freelancing is given an institutional form it can contribute to the development of the IT industry. The government has been providing various training for startups. Banks are also working in this sector. That is, the market is made. Freelancers have been given special training from BASIS.
Arfan Ali, Managing Director of Bank Asia, said that pre-paid card has been introduced in the name of free with matching BASIS to facilitate the freelancers. Through this card, freelancers can deal in the country from abroad. Outsourcing is now a great career for young people in Bangladesh. Desh young people earn foreign currency.
Speakers at the program said that anyone can become freelancer by achieving skill in specific work. But if you are skilled at work then you should come to this profession. There is a freelancing market in the name of the billaniser in the country. Besides, Payoneer Freelancers are doing great work in international payments. The government is giving various training to encourage the freelancers.
