July 20 was a moon day... Will it be also one for BTC ?
I was not touching exact subject of proposed forks of BTC (other than mentioning 1st April UASF) but it looks like today we may have SegWit signaling already locked.
Currently 81,1% of network is signaling the lock in and if this happens - BTC will be able to scale with transaction demands and other useful things like side-chains.
Litecoin was first to succed the lockin and price went high. Coblee predicts the same for BTC now.
Okay so moon for BTC but why 20th is a moon day?

Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that landed the first two humans on the Moon. Mission commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin, both American, landed the lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:18 UTC. Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface six hours later on July 21 at 02:56:15 UTC; Aldrin joined him about 20 minutes later. They spent about two and a quarter hours together outside the spacecraft, and collected 47.5 pounds (21.5 kg) of lunar material to bring back to Earth. Michael Collins piloted the command module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while they were on the Moon's surface. Armstrong and Aldrin spent just under a day on the lunar surface before rendezvousing with Columbia in lunar orbit.
Now time for BTC to land on Moon finally!

BIP 91 activation is scheduled to take place in: 350 Blocks
Miners have until this time to upgrade their nodes. Blocks not signalling BIP 141 (bit 1) will be rejected after activation.
Good news! Now things will start to rock!
bitcoin back up to 2770.91. Maybe steem can follow suit.

I'm thinking bitcoin will be ranging at this price.. for several months
Put all my BTC into LTC. I Need LTC to blast off soon or my BTC will soon be unobtainable for us small fish.
When did you put your money in to LTC? the most recent rally SEEMED in response to possible bitcoin problems, but if Lightning network comes to LTC you'll likely see another rally.
In the long run both BTC and STEEM are headed there, you did nothing wrong.
I only get to see your post right now (hard and long day at work), but wow, it sure was a "moon day" for bitcoin! I'm wondering, can it pass 3000 USD tonight? It almost feels like I wanna to stay awake to keep on watching those price charts... It's incredible! Like I use to say, never invest when a coin is skyrocketing but in this case, for the long term holders, I would say: buy! You could miss a big opportunity! And if I'm wrong for now (knock on wood), and you are a long term holder, just hold on, it will reach much higher heights, that's for sure!

Im still a little bit appalled that an on-chain scalling solution was not achieved , and the block size was not increased
Right now the problem is solved and looks like an agreement was reached , but im worried we will have issues in the future as definite solution to full blocks was not reached
So right now , i don think is a opportunity to invest on btc, but im being cautiosly optimistic , and instead of just holding btc long term , im actively watching the price and trading back and forth to fiat or other crypto
Anyone else here who doesent feel quite Ok with just holding the btc?
