Crypto money mining with body heat - is this really possible?
A Dutch-based company explored whether it would be possible to make crypto-money mining by taking advantage of the energy in the human body.
it really possible to use the energy crypto in the human body for money mining?
Speculative.Capital, a Dutch-based technology company, led a project looking for the answer to this question.
The company prepared clothes for the subjects, which the subjects could wear. According to the company's web site, 37 people took part in the project as subjects. Operation is simple. Participants sleep for a few hours with the special dressing they are wearing, and during this time the heat in their bodies is turned into energy.
Participants provided enough power for mining computers for 212 hours to 8 days. In the meantime, the company claims 16 thousand 594 coins.
Selected cryptographic currencies for the experiment were Vertcoin, Startcoin, Dash, Lisk, Litecoin and Ethereum. Most of the coin removed was Vertcoin and Startcoin. Crypto giants Litecoin and Ethereum were fewer than these.
37 participants produced 127 thousand 210 milliwatts of power over a period of 212 hours.
Some assumptions
If your computer has an Nvidia 1060 6 GB graphics card, you can expect to get a hash of 19 MH / s at 80 watts.
Considering the power of 127,000 210 milliwatts (127 watts) generated by the participants, only 0.002487 Ethereums per day can be removed with this power. In addition, the energy generated by all of the participants would be used.
However, such projects push the boundaries of technology and show us what the human body can do and shed light on how we can produce energy in the future.
When the results of these and other projects were published, people were underestimated by attacking this work. The project will not be able to produce enough energy to produce crypto currency at extraordinary quantities, but it will remain an alternative green path for miners to protect Blockchain.
