After the new of the suspension of Segwit2X BTC soared as high as $7,800 and just 48hrs later Bitcoin sits at $6,600!!!! h s that the rise of Bitcoin in the past couple of weeks was due to people wanting to get the Segwit2X coins in the fork. Bitcoin reached a dominance of 62% meaning of all the money in crypto 62% of it was being held in Bitcoin. As of this writing Bitcoin sits at 56.7% dominance and dropping. I think this percentage will drop to the normal 49% area.
As a result of people moving their money out of Bitcoin other alts have seen dramatic increases. The best example of this is Bitcoin Cash which now sits at $878!!!!! It was sitting at the three hundred dollar mark for weeks. So if you bought Bitcoin Cash while it was low congrats to you!!!!! Another coin that has seen some impressive gains is EOS which now sits at an even $1.00. Just a week ago it sat at 50 cents.
If you looked at coinmarketcap today you would see a whole bunch of red. But in reality a lot of these coins have gone up tremendously in value. So we shall see what happens to the market once Bitcoin settles at a stable price point. In my opinion I see Bitcoin dropping below $6,000 but I could be wrong. Remember I am not your financial adviser just a Crypto Enthusiasts!!!!!!!!

Oh and by the way remember that our beloved STEEM is the sleeping giant. Eventually the crypto world will see STEEM for what it is.......The most REVOLUTIONARY coin on the market!!!!!

It really felt like Bitcoin Cash came out of nowhere. At least for me. I think once it nears $1000, it's going to have a correction. I'm really hoping Steem has it's big break soon!

SegWit and Bitcoin supporters have already parted their ways with bigger block sizes. Maybe Bitcoin scaling debate is not over yet. @mrviquez

It gave everything to BCH apparently. It would have been too much for two hard forks to take place at the same time :)
A lot of energy is still in the Altcoin market. This will explode more.
Nice post. I can't see Steem ever getting to the highs that people believe it will. There is simply too much of it and it's easily obtained for free (by whales).
