I noticed the same thing! absurd that they can just take people's money like that... Lost a lot of faith in Coinbase from that email.
Who do they think they are? No wonder Charlie Lee left that organization. They have gone downhill the last year they used to be good when I first joined 2 years ago..... No wonder people that have been around since the early bitcoin days only trust a paper wallet or hardware wallet like Trezor.
I completely agree. After seeing how exchanges can essentially do whatever they want with their customers money, a hardware wallet is the only safe place to keep cryptocurrency.
