I think it's fine to note that your prediction of 49 cents did not happen (yet) but I don't think you should have to apologise for it. The point of your blog is to teach people to think for themselves. Your logic at the time was perfectly valid. Some people might have though you'd completely lost your mind and bought at that point while others can be patient and see what comes around the corner - maybe they invested in something else at that point and are very happy now. The point is we are big boys and girls and make our own decisions. So don't sweat it and certainly don't make yourself feel responsible for other peoples decisions. Thanks for this analysis - great to watch (and learn) as we see how your brain works.
