Cryptocurrency stocks got a much-needed boost after Bitcoin surged past $48,000.

Bitcoin rose in just a few minutes, while other cryptocurrencies also surged in a surprising rebound.

Bitcoin gained about 26% in the third quarter, but for many other digital asset stocks it was a different story.
