College Student Found Dead After Losing Money on Cryptocurrency

Seoul: A student lost a lot of money after investing in a virtual currency and was found dead in his room Wednesday before being accused of depression.

Busan Gold police said on Thursday that the victim's mother found her son dead Wednesday in his room at 7:50 am

The student's family claimed that the victim originally earned 200 million won (RMB420,000) from his investment.

Police said he attended a second-year university as a sophomore. In the first half of last year, he returned from school and returned to his hometown, Busan, where he started working as a social worker in October.
