German bank NordLB accepts Bitcoin in their canteen
Another day, another story of Bitcoin adoption :D
The German bank NordLB now accepts Bitcoin payments in their canteen. The employees now have the opportunity to buy their lunch, for example a typically german meal called "Currywurst", using Bitcoin.
In the pilot project about 5% of the employees opened up to using the digital currency although the rising Bitcoin price incentivized most of them to hold their Bitcoin instead of purchasing food with it.
The goal of the project however, to raise awareness and know-how among employees, has been met.
Great to see a Bank being open minded about cryptocurrencies.
