In jan 2016 I brought some ethercoin because I saw bitcoin devs are not eager to solve some problems which were too big.

As you mentioned the best thing we see is not the SegWit2x update itself, but the mechanism they put in place to vote on future changes. This opens the way to Bitcoin to evolve.

Maybe it's time to change some eth to bitcoin...

Yes you are right about the SegWit being more "progress friendly" in long term, however I have to correct your statement a little, because BIP91 does not implement SegWit2x (which is the "compromise" version of SegWit with 2MB siz block) but it implements the standart SegWit with 1MB block instead :)
