Yup - I thought of the German hyperinflation from the 20's when I read your title. I've got a stamp collection somewhere my dad gave me with German stamps from that era 'worth' millions of Marks. Used to look that 'em when I was a kid thinking they were worth a fortune - but now, who know -maybe the stamps have appreciated somewhat. Excuse me while I dig through my drawers :)
