How the story that people tell about Bitcoin has been Changing throughout the recent Years.

Any others who think it's fascinating how the story that people tell about Bitcoin is changing?

2013: New currency that can compete with fiat currencies. Transfers with BTC are cheaper and you can transfer money to other countries very quickly. Buy because it is the payment method of the future, so it will increase as everyone starts using it.

2017: Here the story began to change. We had gone from fast and cheap to high fee cripple coin, so now suddenly it was a big of value. But don't worry, it's still money, too. Lightning is ready very soon and everyone can use bitcoin and make lightning fast transfers. Buy because it is both money and store of value.

2019-2020: Even if only onchain transfers were made to create lightning channels, it would take over 100 years to get everyone added to the lightning network. Bitcoin has never been money. It's just a "store of value". Gold 2.0. Buy because you can sell more expensive to a bigger fool later.

At the same time people call it "store of value", there are also people who say it is a binary bet where it will either drop to zero or rise right up to the clouds. So we have a "safe" store of value that can either drop to 0 or increase a lot.

It is exciting what the story that will convince people to buy will be in 2025.
