On 17th of August 2017 the newly born crypto currency Bitcoin Cash (BCH/BCC) began skyrocketing from around $290 to about $500 in a couple of hours, triggering a ton of hype all over MSM and social media. Let's have a look at what happened.

Bitcoin Cash was LOW a week ago

In its third week since the official launch, Bitcoin Cash was fighting like a bear the constant dump, struggling to hold at $300 price tag.

Bitcoin Cash on 18th of August

About time for Bitcoin Cash to show it's power on the market with its first 8 Megabyte block, which according to Coindesk it might have triggered a huge interest among investors, overtaking Ripple yet again in the third place.

Bitcoin Cash in the next weeks?

While Bitcoin Cash seems to have been accumulated by whales at very low prices, the market certainly and suddenly loves it! Frankly we shouldn't be surprised to see this next week on coinmarketcap:

If this ever happens, BCH/BCC might really challenge the king, the all time best, BTC. Maybe nothing is going to happen, we will know for sure in the next couple of months.

The good news is that the launch of Bitcoin Cash has helped Bitcoin a lot, as BTC at its all time high of $4400 challenges PayPal in daily market cap at around $70B, which is a new paradigm we never thought before.
