I agree, bitcoins transactions are to complex (expensive) for buying alt... There sre comming other ways.

It will be interesting to see the competition among currencies. Will the fiat-alt transactions force the Bitcoin community to get its act together and drive down transaction costs and times? I don't know.
It sure brings some more ease of trade, also for less bigger ammounts ... Will see and hope :)
