I personally think : YES. You have to take a look to the post made by Stan about a smart coin on BitShares made to be a universal currency. It is very promising, and he has a plan to make it grows X1000 till next year... So I say: yes it is a wise thing to do... just in case :P I will post the link in the last part of the article.
