Hi, what does Blockmason make of the recent announcement of Smart-Media tokens?

I've been very interested in what the effect does the recent blanket ICO bans are on the market.

I see Smart Media Tokens, as recently announced by Steemit as product-use tokens, and therefore does not fit into the definition of securities.
