Slaves 300 years ago had food, water and shelter on a daily basis. They received free medical care and had allowances. Today, wage-slaves can barely pay for food, shelter or medical care.

This is actually true. It's a similar concept perceived differently. In the future, people will see the way we work the way we see slaves from a few centuries ago. I also believe that today, we get to experience exciting times, a real change just like our grandparents experienced change when electricity, telephones and cars were introduced. The world will never be the same again.
