IMO: A New Model of Raising Funds for Blockchain Project
One of the issues currently facing blockchain startsup is the issue of funds. Projects need money for them to be able to follow through the timeline of the project development and this led to the adoption of Initial Coin Offering (ICO) model which came into the industry in 2017 and through it, many projects raised huge some of money. As the industry continues to evolve and the reality of ICO model which can't protect investors interest, the funding model lost relevance in late 2018 and project developers start finding it difficult to raise funds for their project. At the beginning of 2019, a new model spring up know as Initial Exchange Offering (IEO). Developers were able to raised funds for their projects through exchanges but in less than a year, IEO has also started losing value and I think the main reason for this is because there is no any mechanism in IEO for the protection of investors interest and funds. The industry is in dire need of a funding a model with a mechanism that will be able to protect the interests of investors, a model that is fair and balance to all and such model is IMO.
IMO (Initial Model Offering)
IMO is a new funding model for blockchain projects. The platform plans to resolve the issues facing developers when it comes to raising funds for their projects and solve the concerns of investors thereby creating a balanced ecosystem for all. IMO is an ecological platform for the listing of high quality blockchain projects where they can raise the much needed funds for their projects development by getting funds periodically through continuous limited private placement.
In the two former funding model which are ICO AND IEO, it might take some projects a very long time before they could be able to raise their soft cap talk less of hard cap and in them, investors will have to wait till they reach their funding goal before they will be able to trade their already purchased tokens but this will be a thing of the past with IMO.
In the ecosystem, project will be able to continue to raise funds privately in a progressive manner. Projects will be getting funds from private investors at different stages and time, the platform will be using some mathematical approach to monitor and control the market.
Advantages of IMO
In IMO ecosystem, developers of projects will be very serious in developing it and work according with their road maps in order not to lose their investors.
Investors will be able to constantly monitor the development of the project to know when to stop supporting it.
Also, listing of this projects tokens or coins will be very easy so far the platform has its own exchange and projects won't have to pay huge some of money before listing it like what's obtainable with ICO/IEO models.
The management of money by owners of projects is another pressing issue in the industry. Most projects owners always mismanaged funds since they are directly accountable to anyone and this often leads to the collapse of the project. This won't happen in IMO, in the platform the whole funds won't be collected at once, collection of funds will be periodically and with this mechanism in place, investors will be able to weigh the performance of a project and they will be able to decide individually either to continue their support for it or to pull out of it. IMO is simply the best funding model built with a mechanism to protect the intetest of investors.

IMO platform has created their own utility token which powers the operation of the platform and it is already been traded on their exchange.
The token is an utility token on Ethereum platform and is going to be use for multiple cases within IMO ecosystem. Investors will be able to invest in projects on the platform with the token.
Conclusion
I know that this might look weird to some but the truth is that the project is well grounded. As we all know that both ICO and IEO are not relevant again in today's market and because of this, projects are funding it very difficult to raise funds but IMO is here to change things around in a way that projects will be able to conveniently raise funds.
