The company known for its wondrous series of mobile phones has now decided to cross paths with the new and more advanced technology i.e. blockchain. The company made an announcement less than a week ago in which it mentioned plans for storing and sharing of medical data with the help of blockchain. To make it “Ultra secure ecosystem”, company entered a partnership with ONEBIO. The information which is collected on this technology can be transferred to the platforms which need it including hospitals, patients and IoT biometric devices.
The company may stand again in the mainstream with this technology. This collaboration can eliminate the major problem faced by blockchain companies i.e. financing and ICOs as the companies can run under BlackBerry’s shadow to create the undiscovered. The promise to provide healthcare to millions by keeping an eye on treatment has been a plan on which the company has been working for a long time and decided to go official with it. BlackBerry Messenger may serve more purpose than it initially did.
