RE: System Change: How Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Technology Could Break The Chain Of Human Suffering...

in #blockchain7 years ago

NIce bit of writing...

What impresses me about our crypto revolution is that it has broken what I think is a mass-critical number of people from the mental shackles that have enslaved us for a very, very long time.

We are now collectively questioning old assumptions and building our own futures based on the historical and even game theoretical understandings of political and human failure modes.

The future is ours to build—and most importantly—no longer controlled by the shyster behind the curtain.

perhaps... I'd say there have been many who've been aware from the slavery-nature of the incumbent system for decades - though it's only now with the spread of the new crypto/blockchain system, that alternatives are actually viable...

Totally agree.

I bought some gold coins about 15-20 years ago with my dad... I was vaguely aware of inflationary problems with our money, but gold/silver was all that was out there to combat it unless you knew how to play the stock market,—and it wasn’t mainstream and online at the time. So yeah, gold & siler... centuries old locked down & manipulated shit to this very day.

Crypto has expanded the possibilities hugely in the minds of many many people. That is why I know things will be different regardless of Bitcoin’s fate. We will not accept the usual scams by the usual players any longer.

plus - it's a new platform upon which we can built alternatives.

no more waiting... if we've got an idea, we've now got access to the resources to put it into action. sure, easier said than done - still alot of work involved. but, there's been the removal of a great degree of friction, increase in connectivity, and pieces of the puzzle coming into place to make it alot more realistic to make things happen in collaborating on the design of new systems.

exciting times...

I'll agree with that observation!
