RE: Pros and cons of two versions of Steem Proposal System
I will make this short
- Take from inflation (donations are not enough)
- Take from author rewards (curation rewards are already low, comments are out of question, most of the witnesses probalby barely keep their servers online)
- OR
- Take from interest (that is being paid so we dont lose money to inflation...development of the platform is in our best interest...if we all pay for it via not receiving interest (or rather less), taht would make sense to me)
- Take from declined rewards (i dont see any valid reason not to do that...we need money for development...declined rewards are an awesome source of money for that)
- I think taht we need more time for discussion in general...i think it is a mistake to start RIGHT AWAY. I personally didnt have time to produce my own proposal yet but maybe that is jsut my mistake...a lto has happened a lot of good ideas are being overlooked (such as taking funds from declend payments or adding at least a bit of inflation and some possible calculations from economsits here...you know...let the discussion flow for a while...Steem community is as commited as it has ever been and maybe we try to go a bit too fast without properly discussion every possibility
- Nevertheless we can make another HF...yes it will maybe be costly but we shoudl rather do smaller changes and see their impact then do big changes and then maybe be unable to distinguish the nuances that caused whichever problem may occur
