I have also been in jobs (albeit for short periods) where I didn't really care for it... but what would keep me going is learning something about it.... I have made peace with it that way...But once my heart isn't in it, I do have a tendency to move on ... ;)

Making peace with it isn't the same as finding joy eh ;) It's good that you found happiness in your other jobs though.
