Remarkable geyser that look as if were from another planet

Although it looks like it is from some other planet, this colorful unusual geyser is still on our blue ball full of surprises and beautiful scenes. More precisely in Nevada, USA.

The name Fly Geyser got by the Fly Ranch, a private estate on which it is located, and the geyser itself was created with a human hand - and quite accidentally. In 1964, the geothermal energy research company conducted drilling drilling when it came to groundwater.

Since the water they found was not good enough for irrigation, nor was it warm enough for their needs, the wells were left in peace, and at that time formed a calcium carbonate cone of about 4 meters high.

Geyser has grown considerably over the past 40 years due to geothermal mineral water that is deposited on the surface. Since there are more geysers in the estate, this geyser is not the largest, but surely the most unusual and the most beautiful. Geyser is covered with algae, which thrive in moist, warm conditions, resulting in various shades of green and red, which give it a unique look.

The small lake around the geyser even formed a mini-eco system. Small fish (brought here by an unknown man) are attracted by a large number of birds such as swans and wild ducks.

The link between human error and natural geothermal pressure, the minerals and the sun, created this gorgeous scene-geyser that seems to be on another planet.
