New details for Hubble Ultra Deep Field

in #blog6 years ago

A few years ago the Hubble Space Telescope, around Earth's orbit, photographed a small region of space in the constellation of the Furnace.

The images were processed, with the help of particular software, and the image of what the universe was like about 13 million years ago, or hundreds of millions of years after the Big Bang, came to light.
The image is in maximum resolution and in every shot was enriched with details and shows more than 10 thousand galaxies: in fact it is considered one of the most beautiful images we have of the universe.

With the latest elaboration, managed by an international team of researchers, new and amazing elements have been added, reworking the Hubble image in a magnificent way with new data and images. With this study it came to light that many galaxies are larger than one might think.
