Math as My Valentine - It's Everywhere and Its Beautiful!

in #blog5 years ago

During my student, I had my fair share of courses involving math of all sorts. Mathematics always interested me and, as I went studied my way through these courses, I slowly started to realize how everything in nature can be described with mathematics. Sometimes in a simple way through a single equation, sometimes through complex theories I will most likely never comprehend.

Over time, I came across mathematical concepts that can be applied to many different phenomena in nature. Every time, it made my love for mathematics grow stronger.

Sharing my love for math with the layman can sometimes be challenging. How, for example, would you share your enthusiasm for something like Euler's formula with someone unfamiliar to the topic.

Well, I realized, Youtube can come in handy in doing so! Maybe I'm not the best in conveying my enthusiasm, but Youtube provides content from people who can very well do so!

Here's an example I found this morning, on how things in nature such as a population growth relate to something as complex as the Mandelbrot set.

Thanks for stopping by, have a good one!
