Skull Art: Experiment Using Pencil Sketches For Smoke

While waiting on a recent appointment, I pulled out the trusty old pencil and scratch pad. I began doodling and came up with an interesting image of two opposite faces that appeared to float in smoke. As I was looking through some old images I have stored on my computer, a skull and candle appeared. I quickly scanned the doodle, opened up the Gimp and began experimenting. Here is what I ended up with:
