How I quit my JOB and become FULL TIME Steemit BLOGGER

in #blog8 years ago

I have quit last week my job. I was technically a driver, as a part-time employee, but I had a pretty high salary, I co-owned the company and we had an arrangement with my partner, so it was going well.

Last week I quit my job, because although I like traveling, it just became too burdensome, especially since I got married recently and I want to spend more time with my wife. I still co-own the company though.

Well what better way there is to earn money than to work from home? Although the title is a bit misleading, on Steemit I don't quite earn a lot, but supplementing that with my income from trading, and it's a pretty nice income.

It can be a dream coming true, and if it worked for me then it can work for anyone else, especially for 3rd worlders, I am earning nicely from here, and I am not even a good blogger. Well if you are from a 3rd world country, you can be an even worse blogger than me, and earn a little bit less, because that is still good income for your country's levels.

So basically anyone can earn a full time salary here, just from blogging. Isn't that wonderful how many options the free market provides?

Let's see:

So only from Steemit it would be a gross 1300 EUR / month, minus the Government Theft of course, so I would be left with like half of this. Which is nice, but I need more money than that.

So I complement this with my altcoin trading, which is better, but less reliable so I might only withdraw once every 2-3 months, but given my calculations it's a stable income, just less liquid.

So I can survive on 3000 EUR/month, net income, given that even my wife earns very well, so it's no problem.

I can just work from home, and spend more time with my wife, who is on vacation now, and if I buy her the place where she works she will have to work even less, perhaps she might join Steemit too, who knows.

The point is that it's just this easy to work from home and earn a stable income, especially for people who live in poorer countries.

You have generated a great discussion here.
i'm glad you find steemit helpful in generating an income to replace your job; I do so hope as well, and we shall see.

Sounds like you got it pretty much all figured out my man. It's great to see some good looking stats like that. I have been compiling my stats just recently, but I was suprisied on how well I was doing. And for me I was already doing much of the reading and commenting on articles, but now I get paid. I hope that your journey to financial freedom is a good and smooth road for you my friend. I know that I am not there yet, but if we continue to work hard and think outside of societies box we will be successful for sure! Cheers 🍻

Congrats for the success.

For the majority of us it will only happen after a long time, or with luck. My content for example isn't even noticed. And because it isn't noticed I don't get up votes and because I don't get up votes I don't get reputation. But it might be that if I don't run out of ideas, I might be in a similar situation in a year. But with this success it will take me about 10 000 posts (just guessing). A bit over 300 so far.

You just joined 1 month ago, it will take more time than that, but eventually it will be noticed, just keep working.

I was in those same shoes when I joined. Lucky for me, I stumbled on the @minnowsupport project while I was on steemit.chat, just a few days after I signed up. I joined, and boy did it help me kickstart my blog! Check it out, you won't regret it. Good luck.

I have the sane thoughts and concerns. 😂

That's cool man! followed and upvoted..I'll keep up with your journey...much success!

Your idea of generating any useful $$ from day trading is a bad idea. Your idea of trying to earn a living from Steemit and content creation could work - bravo to you for having courage to try.

Day trading is a fools errand. Don't be a fool !!

STEEM On !!

Dave

I didn't said I am day trading. I am investing in 1-2 month long timeframes, that is why the cashflow is smaller there, so I can only cashout once in every 2-3 months. But the monthly income is good.

I call that "day trading".

Investing is a 5 year horizon minimum.

But each to their own, hope it works for ya

STEEM On !!

Dave

Money is shuffled around quickly here. It's a very liquit market, I would not be surprized if you can make money weekly here, but definitely monthly.

Keep shinning!

This is inspiring. I'm from the third world. With that kind of stack (3k a month), id be earning more than my boss's boss.

And even that is nothing, people like @sweetsssj and @rea and @dollarvigilante are making 1000-2000$ /day.

So only sky is the limit. I wish you good luck too!

Success leaves clues. I follow them all. Thanks. Just learning from the best.

This blog mentions @sweetsssj as an example, and how she worked hard. It's a really good blog. sweetsssj responds in a comment and her reply is very interesting. And @walkingkeys is great. They're both worth a follow.

Congrats! It really takes a lot of courage to go full time on Steemit. This is really cool!
