South Korea is the world's first nation to launch 5G networks

USA and Japan these two are the first two countries to launch 5G networks commercially, but the South Korean based Tech company Samsung already Launched its first 5G enabled Samsung Galaxy S10.

This 5G tech can offer 20 times faster data speeds than the current 4G networks with better support for Artificial intelligence and Virtual Reality.

The first 5G network is set to available in certain cities in USA commercially right from the mid April by Verizon. Other telecommunication companies starting their 5G services from the month of May, 2019. By 2020, this 5G network is widely in most of the countries

5G Network Uses:

  1. Fixed wireless Internet access to Homes, rather than fixed lines
  2. The goal of 5G networks is to reach 20gb/s peak throughput and 1gb/s on high mobility
  3. Remote controlling critical infrastructure, for example self driving cars
  4. Seamlessly connecting embedded sensors to virtually everything.
  5. 5G is going to play major role in connecting smart cities, healthcare, agriculture, virtual sports and industrial machine operations.
