The MSM is still talking about Bitcoin and the potential of it, meanwhile the people like myself and others who have known about it since the beginning, are already aware that it's been hijacked and is actually no longer usable as a currency. At this point we do not care where the price goes, other than for investment purposes. If you really want the technology, you need to be looking elsewhere.
We have numerous crypto-currencies available that can change the future. We have crypto-currencies like Litecoin, a crypto-currency that has been around for almost as long as Bitcoin. We have others, such as Monero, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, EOS, etc. All these crypto-currencies have great potential and can only be put into mass use if the general public is aware of the technology and not just the name of the coin.
The reason Bitcoin has gained so much attention is the rise in price and the quick and easy buzzword terminology that comes with it. You'll notice this a lot, the general public absolutely adores buzzwords and the reason they like buzzwords is because buzzwords are typically a quick and easy way to explain something. Bitcoin is a two syllable word, therefore is easy to memorise and for whatever reason it catches on in the minds of the general public. This is something to take note of when creating words in order to push your agenda, in this case our agenda, the agenda of the technology of crypto-currencies.
How do crypto-currencies work? Well it's very similar to hard drive encryption. With hard drive encryption you have a two keys, you have a 4800-bit private key and you have a 9600-bit public key, in order to access the private key you must have the public key and in order to access the private key you must have the private key, for without the private key you cannot use the public key. This same technology is being used with crypto-currency, except in this case we have the data that is stored in that private key being distributed over the internet via servers. It is calculated via the digital wallet that you are using which server is best for the transaction. Of course the technology is far more complex but this is the basics of the crypto-currency technology.
So to conclude, as we can see it is very difficult to simplify such an explanation, even though the explanation I have given is as simple as I can get it, that is not a buzzword that can be thrown about by the general public. The question we need to be asking ourselves is, what is the most simplistic buzzword we can come up with, using the least amount of syllables? At this point, it is a game of propaganda, not the misinformation kind of propaganda but the informative kind of propaganda.
