ThruNite TH30 Headlamp Flashlight 3350 Lumens Field Test
This is an awesome and high quality headlamp with 3,350 lumens LED and a range of 155 meters. This is a flashlight or headlamp which makes it quite versatile for any type of use.
The TH30 head lamp comes with a head band and rubber retainer for use as a head lamp or you can remove it and the flashlight becomes a very nice sized hand held flashlight.
With the shirt clip and the 90 degree turned light output this is perfect for clipping onto your pocket on the go at night. This keeps your hands free as well.
As a hand held flashlight the location of the power button is also perfect and easy to use.
As is typical with the ThruNite LED flashlights I have tried, this comes with extra O rings and a spare rubber headlamp retainer. There is also the shirt clip and a USB charging cable.
ThruNite flashlights typically have a variety of functions ranging from firefly mode with only 0.5 lumens on up to turbo mode with 3350 lumens.
The firefly mode is perfect for survival situations or reading in camp without disturbing others.
The turbo mode pierces the night up to 155 meters.
One thing I like about this headlamp is that it has a very wide angle beam and a spotlight in the center. The wide angle gives you a good view of what is around you while the spotlight cuts deep into the darkness.

Troy has once again Failed at keeping another promise to make “daily videos, like back in the old RV days, filming everything as he goes about his day”.
His most recent YT video, he claims two solar panels got blown to the ground by high winds.
The two panels were shown against the bottom two panels below, as if they were placed gently by Reid himself.
He says the screws were missing....”just gone”...and no damage.
Said he would investigate the damage later when things “quiet down”.
Then a day later, Reid changes his story, saying in the YT comments that he used “zip ties” to secure the panels.
He said he would look for the zip ties later, claiming they are buried in the snow.
However his savvy Trolls went back, reviewed his videos showing the sub-standard solar panel rack build and other videos to date, which showed no screws or fasteners holding the top two panels to the rack.
Reid’s story did not make any sense,
and was contradicted by himself as well.
