Just two months ago, shares of Jasmine Technology Solutions PCL rose to the top of the global communications equipment sector after being catalyzed by a Thai firm's plan to embrace bitcoin mining.

Now the picture is completely different. A cryptocurrency route has caused the stock to fall nearly 80% from its peak in April, losing about $ 10 billion in market value and pinning the firm to the bottom of the group.
