The Canterbury Tales/Currenly Reading Book

Hi booklovers!
Today,ı'm gonna mention about Canterbury Tales book which written 14th century.Author of this book Geoffrey Ghaucher was an English poet and he told us about the beginning of the English Renaissance in this book.The book's main subject is a group of pilgrims travelling to Canterbury and they decide that each traveller should tell a story.
This is a really important work for me because it analyzed British Society in Medieval.Maybe this book seems too much religious but first when ı read it was really entertaining.The stories inside this book are describing different personalities from each other.It tell us about different topics like love,marriage,religions in Medieval.It contains a little bit irony,too.Unfortunately,the author of this book has died without finish this book so this book is totally unfinished.He prefered ordinary people instead noble part of the society.I think it's one of the most significant books in English literature.As a bookreader who likes reading classics,totally love this book and its content.
