I have read in history about Marie Antoinette who was the last queen of France. In one side king, queen and other elites were having plenty of things in their life, common people of France were living a miserable life. When hungry crowd came to Marie Antoinette asking for bread. She said, If you don't have bread, why don't you eat cakes. She had no idea that the people who couldn't afford bread, how could they have been purchased cakes.

This is the reality of life. People who have everything in life can't imagine about the pain and suffering of the people who have to struggle in every step of life to live somehow. Poverty is one of the main cause of our sufferings. People who don't have resources, have to struggle even for getting drinking water. In one hand rich drink imported water which may cost over $100 for a single bottle while $100 may be a lifetime income of some people. There is too much income gap in this world. It is estimated that top 10% rich have control over 90% resources while the bottom 10% have no income to live.

I don't know how poor survive in this world. I am not a rich person but as I am single, it is not much difficult for me to have a better life despite having low income. In the old time a family of 10 to 15 members could have survived easily but it has become impossible for such families to have a decent life, if they don't have enough money.

People claim that conditions have changed a lot. There is no such things present in the modern world that were prevailing in the ages when the French revolution started. In the old times, only aristocratic families had rights on many things but in the modern world everyone can enjoy his or her rights without any interruption. But is this true? If someone had no money, how would she be able to have a dinner in a costly restaurant, how would she get decent clothing and have a house? It means rules have changed but outcome is still the same all over the world. Rich had exclusive rights in the past and they also have this in the present world.
