“Liz, where is everyone, it’s the Fourth of July, usually the Lynden City Park is packed with people!”😮
While the Eastern side of the Country melts with 90 to 100 degree Fahrenheit temperatures, Silvertop was wearing his hooded sweatshirt on today’s hike!😇
A stiff cool breeze was blowing on this Sunny Fourth of July, making our blistering 68F feel even cooler!🥶
The parking lot was half empty, picnic tables were empty!
The creek that flows through the center of the Park, and attracts dozens of kids to wade and play in was also empty!😮
“Honey watch out, here comes a couple of Girls on an Electric bike and they aren’t slowing down!”😳
Other than a few “E bikes”, and a Man walking his two German Shepherd’s, Liz and Silvertop basically had the Park to ourselves Lol!😇
I asked CHAT GPT…… “Where is everyone at on this Fourth of July weekend, the Lynden Park is empty?”

“Silvertop……Many people may have left town for the long weekend, or they might be enjoying Family backyard get togethers!

After our hike, we stopped in Starbucks for our usual Latte and Mocha………….
as Liz was waiting in line, her iPhone was ringing……….
