Months of using Brave - Great Browser but...

Nice!
And Brave has a wallet built in to the heart of the browser. Great!
It says you can trade anonymously. Great
Then I tried to deposit some BAT into that incorporated wallet...
I find this to be unacceptable
So I decided that this is worth a rant. People who gave up their identity early on in the crypto world will tell you that sites only attach that ID to your crypto address. Then you are haunted by any country you have visited, requesting taxes, freezing your ability to travel, move about, or apply for any services.
All of the above hits you while old men in the business of lawmaking have no clue what crypto is or how it should be taxed.
Example: You have 10 bitcoins. The tax authoritarians think you should pay let's say 10% of the $200k that your coins were worth.
You paid the $20k on those coins.
Now the price goes down to $3,000 the next year and stays there.
Your coins are worth $60k and stay at that value for over a year.
Yet you have not sold any of your holdings. But you have paid one third of the value of your holdings.
Now, you can take a capital loss of $140k and get a tax deduction for the decrease for the current year.
Well you see where this rant is going.
Any KYC is antithetical to the purpose and utility of crypto-currencies. It should be avoided.
I am not against paying taxes. I am against being tracked and as if I held dollars. The lawmakers only understand paper money. If I want to HODL and watch my 'net worth' in crypto rise and fall. I need not pay paper money for the right to choose that path.
Tell Bittrex, Poloniex, Changelly, Shapeshift, and anyone else who wants your data to politely eat $hit.
Yes, blocktrades too (sadly).

Steemit, Steem-engine, Openledger, are some that are acceptable. They allow you to transact privately.
Anyway. I have some small amounts of BAT and will take Steem, Pal, or any real crypto for the wallet seeds.
