Brew Day Wednesday (and Tuesday and Thursday)...
So, it's another Brew Day today. Some of you might not know that alongside home-brewing, I also work for a local five barrel microbrewery that brews the best beers I have ever tasted. I love a full on, punch you in the face with hops kind of beer and that is exactly what Bakers Dozen Brewing Co. produces. Basically, Dean brews beer that he wants to drink, which is great for me as we have very similar tastes!
Yesterday, Dave and I started brewing our first ever batch of wine (Sauvignon, will post later!).
We also have Elderflower Champagne and a Summer Pale Ale in bottles for the next few weeks. (Again, post coming later.)
Today at B13, we'll be brewing... Ah well, that would be telling wouldn't it?! We're also brewing tomorrow in an attempt to keep up with demand. So you can expect some great posts about how much we love cleaning the Brewery, wearing wellies and having hop hair after spending an hour crawling around a Copper with a jet wash, also known as the: Best. Job. Ever.
And this evening/tomorrow evening, Dave and I are brewing another beer at home and we're going all in and making one from scratch, no kits allowed this time! We're lucky enough to have been able to borrow a great brew set up from Dean at B13 and we'll chronicle how it goes on here!
If you have any questions about microbreweries or B13 beers, please don't hesitate to ask!

Whoop whoop! Can't wait to get some sampling done!
You're welcome to assist with the new brew kit tomorrow. We've borrowed Dean's stuff in exchange for masonry drill expertise and putting up whiteboards at the Brewery!
I was hoping for this, didn't want to invite myself; I would have though, got no shame :D
😂 😂 😂 😂! Always invite yourself! Will get Dave to let you know when he plans to start. That homebrewing place in PBrizzle is the sizzle by the way. Went last night, bloody loved it.
Perfect!
Yeah, that shopkeeper has so much stuff in there; anything one could dream of. And the wine fermenting on the counter is a nice little touch!
