BTS's Jin Enjoys Birthday with ₩100 Million Donation that Will Help the Underprivileged Kids in Busan
Jin, the BTS member, one more time showed the world the reasons for his being loved not just as a global superstar but also as a very sympathetic person with a big heart. On the eve of his birthday, which is on December 4, the singer gifted the needy kids and young people in Busan a donation of₩100 million (about USD 68,000). The donation was made to the reputable Busan Namgwang Social Welfare Society, which has reached the milestone of 80 years in service this year.
The charity organization revealed that the money donated by Jin would support the programs that uplift the underprivileged youth—very much indeed, if not more so. Among the activities financed by Jin's generosity will be the granting of scholarships to gifted students and a self-sufficiency support program designed to guide the youth through their adulthood transitions, both socially and financially. The youth who would not have had any support otherwise are the main focus of the programs, and the programs will provide them with stability, education, and emotional support.
Jin's donation is a great act of charity that is consistent with his strong and often-mentioned commitment to the cause, and also demonstrates his readiness to give both financially and through time. In 2025, he was constantly supporting the charity that helps poor and sick children by sending money his way. One of the ways he did so was by giving ₩100 million as a donation to the Korea University Medical Center's international medical assistance project for patients with rare diseases from developing countries. On Children's Day, he made an extraordinarily loving gift to the children's ward at the Asan Medical Center, which, in turn, is a clear indication of his commitment to the young.
Jin has been praised by fans all over the world for his decision to give back to society instead of receiving gifts on his birthday. The consideration behind his actions is still encouraging to millions, and it proves once again that global artists can have a positive impact beyond entertainment.
