PREPARATION / BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR PROMOTING & HOSTING THE FIRST FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT ON THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN (Steemit 5aside Football Tournament)

The preparation for hosting the first steemit football tournament began today..
Myself and the team had a meet up today to discussed on how to make this project a success. We discussed about a whole lot of things, sharing thought and ideas. We shared the task among ourselves, to make the job more easier.
@doveybee was appointed the head of publicity because of her marketing experience, @caspady making sure all the items needed are ready, @fortune-inyang taking care of entertainment, @discreetsaint for @diamondvisuals will be handling the visuals, which has to do with photography/video coverage of the event.

What is steemit 5aside football tournament

Steemit 5aside football tournament is a project initiated by myself, with a team of steemians working together to make this wonderful project a success. It's a football tournament with just 5 players playing in a smaller pitch with a smaller goal post. There will be 8 teams in this championship, kicking their way up to the finals. This project is schedule to kick off on the 15 of feb 2018 by God's grace, if i have all the support needed...It's going to be an event hosted once in a year, and in different states in Nigeria. The first Season will be in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State.

The Mission of this project:

Football has been known as a tool, used in bringing peace, love and unity within humans. Football brings people together, it's gives people the opportunity to interact with each other and also debate on several issues. We want to use this tournament in creating awareness, telling people about Steemit blockchain.

We all know football have the highest fan and supporters in the world when it comes to sports. And in my state, it's always a huge turn out whenever a competition like this is being hosted. We expect nothing less than 300 people at the venue everyday till the end of the tournament. The tournament is to last for 14 days after Kick-off, so we can imagine the awareness this will create and the number of people that will know about the platform or join before the end of the tournament.

This project will bring a huge publicity to the community, and will also affect lot of lives.

168 Sbd which equates to $1500 (at the current market prices)
