(UPDATE) Store is currently profiting $3400 a month, here's what i did.

First ill start with an update and then share my original post below so you don't have to search for it!

So its been a few months since i launched my digital service.

Im currently spending 16 hours per week managing customers, including the on boarding, removing and quality management of each customer.

im sitting at roughly $3400 profit monthly, Im getting roughly 50/50 split between credit card payments (via stripe) and paypal payments.

I use paypal to pay my affiliates (all explained in the post below) so i dont touch any money that comes in to that account as my affiliates are my number #1 source of business and still to this day my only source.

I have found some interesting things about selling a product threw affiliates and that is that people already in affiliate marketing, MLMs Pyramid shaped company's. Are incredibly dedicated to their product and do not like idea of adding another product even if that product helps them grow their affiliate marketing business.

But what i did find is something that i expected but didn't expect to this level and that is that influences especially Instagram influencers between 10k - 50k followers are very open to advertising your product for incredibly low rates. Not just that but their followers seem to trust them more and the uptake in sales from these smaller influencers posting my product on their stories was insane.

I couldn't recommend it more! The hardest part is still trying to find influencers in your niche, reach out and them actually get your message in between all the spam they receive.

Im contemplating working on a service to allow small startups to more easily access Instagram influencers, but that's for another day.

So far my journey has been pretty interesting and after all the business i have tried and failed at this was probably the simplest in terms of set up management and on going maintenance. but it did take a lot more research in the early days to set up.

I really hope this post was at least on some level coherent, i know when i try and type what im thinking it normally sounds nothing like i originally intended.

This is my first real blog post in a long time!
Please excuse my grammar & spelling i am incredibly dyslexic.

This isn't a product promotion, however some links may contain referral codes because if you want to try them out it will help me out as well =)

My reason for sharing this is for years when I was younger I would always read up about and learn from ways people turned small ideas in to amazing money making opportunities and changed their lives.

what I have made is still in its infancy only a few months old and I have no idea what the longevity will be, but the fact I was able to make my entire investment back in 2 weeks, and probably could have made it back in two days if I was smarter with what I spent my money on is awesome!

Now down to business, about a year ago i was on Instagram thinking I wish I had more followers so I could work with brands and get cool stuff like all of the people I saw in my news feed.

So I had what turned out to be a not so original idea to create a bot that would make my instagram Like follow/unfollow and comment on other pages similar to mine so they follow me back and my followers grew rapidly.

I have no understanding of Coding and design but I had an idea I wrote down what I wanted and advertised it on

I ended up getting one from both, the fiver one was the best however freelancer gave me multiple options as people can bid on your proposal so if I chose a different coder I might have received a better result.

Where I stuffed u is I could have hosted my bot/software in the cloud at on Amazon Web Services for a few dollars a week.
But I wasn’t aware of that so I bought a server & googled how to create a virtual machine and run the server.

with the bot they made me I managed to amass over 20,000 followers that where all real and liking my content and commenting on my page. This was amazing, only one problem I still wasn’t getting the ‘free’ stuff. So I did some research wrote some emails and started contacting companies with a script I wrote & BOOM getting aid to go to festivals getting paid to eat free meals and go to awesome new experiences, free clothing and so much more.

I was living the exact way I wanted to be living. Every thing was fine and I told a friend here or there about how I got to 20,000 followers & one day a Friend of mine Eli calls me saying he heard from another friend Reno about what I had managed to do with my Instagram account & had friend that was interested and willing to pay

I had no idea what this service would be worth so like I always do I said what would you pay for a service like this he said ‘I don’t know, 25 - 30 a week’ so I said I’m sure I could make $25 a week work (these rices are in AUD so that’s about $19 USD a week)

I had no idea how to charge someone a reoccurring payment so I set up a www.stripe.com account and created a $19 USD a week subscription and added him to it.

This gave me the idea of trying to sell it so I started researching how to build a website, I wanted something affordable but fast and easy to build because I had almost 0 experience in website design.

The reason I went with click funnels is it guided me threw the whole proccess was fast to build with no knowledge in websites and was reasonably priced. But the main reason I went with click funnels was because the offered a product called Back Pack.

Now back pack what a great product for me. When o was looking at a way to sell this I wanted a way to market but I have no experience and had little funds to market the product, and the way I found my first sale was a referral.

So the way it works was when people sign up they can join my Affiliate program, this means they get a special link they can send to there friends. If their friends join threw the link they get a cut of what the friend pays for the life of the subscription.

To incentivise people to work for me I gave them 50% commission and with that high a commission people where working hard for me, and today I haven’t technically sold a single membership my self and haven’t spent a cent in advertising.

All of our affiliates have come from other affiliates and keep growing the business I am currently at 46 re occurring payments of 19 - 35 USD a week (I sell different packages)

I have no idea where this is going to go and if it’s going to continue to grow at this rate, all I can do is hope.
My hope is it inspires someone like I was inspired by others to try something different or something in a different way that might make them some income =)
